My personal journey in creating art began as a child where I learned to draw with pastels.  I loved the way I could blend colors together.  During art appreciation in college, I was intrigued by the artist, Renoir and the way he was able to capture the spirit of life in his work

When I first saw his paintings, I made up my mind to strive to capture the spirit of life in my work as well.  I fell in love with oil painting when as a young adult I took lessons learning how to manipulate oil on canvas to achieve a desired result.  I loved how I could use color and subject matter to evoke feeling in my art.”
