“Royal Diadem”

This was painted before the Afghanistan Hostage Crisis.

I was distraught at what was happening with our country, praying in intercession.  I sought answers and comfort in the scriptures and then I read Isaiah 62:3.  I knew in my spirit instantly that I was supposed to paint a crown.

There seemed to be no plan, other than I imagined this beautiful jewel encrusted crown.  As always, when I sit down to paint, I pray for Papa God to use my paintbrush to paint what is on His heart.

Instead of being jewel encrusted, it was a whole crown cut completely from one diamond, no joints, fusions, etc.

The message was two-fold;

God can create anything

And

For those who follow and honor Him as their Lord and Savior

“You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God”  Isaiah 62:3
