Two days before I took this photo we were evacuated from our home along with others, from a fire racing up the mountain behind our home.  There was no harm to any structure or any injuries, thanks to prayer and the astute actions of first responders.  In the evening, a few days after the fire, I looked up and saw these beautiful cotton candy clouds shimmering in the sky.  I had to paint them along with the towering  oak tree and the elderberry bush in the foreground.
